Job for the post of JRF in Indian Institute Of Technology Roorkee
Applications are invited from Indian nationals only on plain paper giving full details of educational qualification and experiences for the following positions as per details given below under the DST sponsored research project entitled "Remote Sensing based debris-cover analysis of Chhota-Shigri Glacier, Himalaya" Under Prof. Sri R.P. Gupta, P.I. in Department of Earth Sciences, I.I.T Roorkee for a period up to September 2013.
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) : One
Emoluments : Rs. 12,000/-per month + HRA as per Institute rules
Qualifications: M.Sc.l(Geology/AppJied Geology) or equivalent with at least 6.75 CGPA in10 point scale or 60% marks with consistently good academic record . and NET qualified for Lectureship (LIS).
Note: The candidates will be required to carry out field work in high altitude glacier terrain of the Himalayas and should possess physical fitness and aptitude for this type of work.
