Reservoir Geologist / Geophysicist - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Our client is a leading global petroleum company based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. They currently have an opening for a Reservoir Geologist / Geophysicist to undertake Research & Development projects in Enhanced Oil Recovery and CO2 Management.
Your responsibilities include:
* Develop work flow and methodology in field of expertise
* Be the Custodian of software development, coding and products
* Advise and provide Consultancy on al seismic interpretation and attribute matters in the relevant unit
* Mentoring junior researchers
* Specialisation in: Geology: Geochemistry, Reservoir Geology, Biostratigraphy, Sedimentology
Geophysics: Non Seismic, Imaging, Processing and Quantitative Geophysics
The successful candidate should have minimum of 12 years experience with a minimum qualification of Degree in Geoscience. You should have a proven track record of carrying out independent research and development ideas, software and algorithms for analysis of geophysical data or conceptual models in geology and relating Geology to Geophysics.
