HYDROGEOLOGIST
The primary role of this position involves the collection and evaluation of all hydrological data for Paladin's mine and exploration sites. The key duties of this position include assisting the senior geologist and environmental department in the planning, execution and evaluation of hydrogeological and hydrological studies, supervising water bore drilling contractors and local workers, carrying out training programs, coordinating and managing consultants as well as maintaining hydrological programs and databases. The role also involves reporting to management on the progress and status of matters concerning all hydrological work. To be successful in this role, you need to have between 2 to 10 years experience in hydro geology, hold a tertiary qualification in Geology (or Hydrogeology). The position will be based in Paladin's head office in Subiaco but the applicant must be willing to travel regularly to remote areas in Africa and Australia for up to 4 weeks at a time.
