Geo-environmental Consultant- Bristol
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a geo-environmental consultant looking for a new opportunity in the contaminated land field to diversify and progress their career. Involved in both the site assessment and remedial design this is a holistic role that allows utilisation and development of interpretative and analytical as well as site based skills. - Qualification: You will have a BSc and preferably MSc in geology, environmental geoscience, civil engineering, contaminated land or similar.
- Experience: It is essential that you have site investigation experience gained whilst working for a consultancy or public sector organisation previously. Interpretative experience is beneficial but not essential. You must have sound Phase 1 and Phase 2 investigation expertise.
- Duties:
Undertaking detailed desk studies of sites
Conducting phase 2 site walkovers and sampling of soil, emissions, and groundwater samples Client liaison Involvement in remediation design Factual and interpretative report writing - Typical Projects:
Due to a continued influx of projects this environmental consultancy are currently looking for a new recruit to join their established contaminated land team. Working closely with their remediation team this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your phase 1, 2 and 3 site investigation experience. This vibrant team are currently involved in an abundant variety of projects including numerous landfill projects for local authority clients along with oil refinery work and investigation of sites for industrial suppliers.
