This job will require you to participate in both green and brown field developments, take a technical role in integrated field studies and be responsible for production geology work content and quality. Gathering and validating data, interpreting field measurements and proposing additional data gathering, you’ll also build and update static geological models and identify and assess key subsurface uncertainties and their impact on future activities. You’ll participate in the virtual knowledge-sharing network, share learning and take a proactive approach to knowledge sharing and engagement with colleagues in operating units. You’ll also be responsible for the training, coaching and mentoring of junior staff. - Desired Candidate Profile
This position will require to work on one of the exploration or field development integrated project teams a this means you’ll have knowledge of many aspects of the EP business. There is sufficient scope for learning and development either through on-the-job-training with other or more experienced colleagues or through more formalized training courses, workshops and conferences.
Excellent communications with the operational groups, partners of Shell and other stakeholders and with other technical disciplines within Shellâs technical community are vital. This includes representing technical work to the Shell customers and Joint Venture partners, so you’ll have first class interpersonal and communication skills. - Company Profile
