Applications are invited on plain paper from eligible candidates latest by July 31, 2011 for the temporary position given below, under the Atomic Mineral Division (Department of Atomic Energy) Research Project entitled "Sedimentological, geological and structural studies of Vindhyan sediments in areas around Bundelkhand craton for assessing potentiality of sandstone type uranium mineralization" at the Department of Geology, University of Lucknow, Lucknow.

The appointment will be made purely on a temporary basis for three years up to the end of the project (July 2014). The appointment can be terminated at any given time without notice or without assigning any reason thereof. The persons engaged shall not be entitled for any claim implicit or explicit for absorption in the University.

1. Name of the Post: JRF/Project Fellow (Two)
2. Remuneration : Rs.16,000/? Per Month consolidated (all inclusive) for first two years and @Rs. 18,000/? per month from third year.
3. Qualification:
i) Essential: M.Sc. in Geology/applied geology with minimum 55% marks
ii) Desirable: Hands?on experience in studies related to Remote Sensing Techniques & structural mapping/Sedimentology/Geological Techniques.
