Job description
We are seeking an Exploration Geologist for a long term contract in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Job requirements
BSc degree in Petroleum Geology or related field, plus eight years of experience within the Oil & Gas
industry.
Experience must include characterizing shale gas reservoirs in terms of their petroleum geochemical
properties, mapping reservoir environment of deposition and applying sequence stratigraphy.
Experience must also include applied concepts and methods in 2D & 3D seismic interpretation. Knowledge
and use of GEOFRAME, Stratworks, Openworks, Petrel, VoxelGeo, Seismic Visualization tools and ArcGIS
and Basin Modeling tools is also required.
Experience of the offshore Brazilian basin essential.
