Apex operated two mechanized underground mines focused on epithermal gold veins at Masara, Maco, Compostella Valley Province. Our exploration and Geology Department is facing a challenge to ensure the long term and successful future of our operation by assuring its growth of resources. We can only do this by strengthening the collective skills of our competent geologists and engineers. We therefore seek applicants with the following qualifications:
Junior Exploration Geologist
PHP 27000 - 39000 +Bonus and Allowance
(Southern Mindanao - Masara, Maco, Compostella Valley Province)
Responsibilities:
At least 1 to 2 years relevant work experience is our basic requirement but fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. This group of young professionals will report to the Senior Exploration Geologist. We expect our Junior Geologists to:
- Lead a team of mapper, sampler and sampler aid in daily exploration activites (e.g. mapping, sampling, trenching etc).
- Undertake geological mapping every day.
- Generate a map at the end of each fieldwork day.
- Be able to do initial interpretation of all data gathered.
- Directly report to the Senior Exploration Geologist.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), Geology/Geophysics or equivalent.
- At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Masara,Maco,Compostella Valley Province.
- 3 Full-Time positions available.
