Job Description:Senior Geologist - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
My client is looking to recruit a Senior Geologist to lead, direct and undertake G&G studies for a JOC - including exploration, appraisal and development operated blocks through established G&G work processes in order to provide efficient and cost effective support, services and solutions to customers in achieving my client's overall strategy & planning, including reserve and production targets.
Your Responsibilities will include carrying out geological studies, geological model building, reservoir development planning, well planning, operations geology, integrating data / cross discipline interaction, reserves evaluation and classification and technical reporting.
The successful candidate should have:
*6-10 years of experience
*Bachelor Degree in Geology / Geophysics or a similar science related subject
*Knowledge and / or experience of dynamic simulation modelling, reservoir engineering analytical techniques and geo- modelling
*Knowledge of dynamic simulation modelling and reservoir engineering analytical techniques
*Experience in field development planning, economic evaluation, reservoir development planning and production forecasting
*Knowledge of Petrel, Geoframe or other G&G software.
The candidate MUST have a visa, citizenship or equivalent to work in Malaysia.
