Our client, a well established join venture of two operating companies in the Middle East are looking for a Senior Operations Geologist for their office in Abu Dhabi.
Responsibilities:
As an Operations Geologist you will be capable of :
- Monitoring and following-up on field drilling
- Interface with the subsurface team and well engineering
- Take responsibility for the duty rota of operations and well site geology
- Manage sub-surface input to the geology and drilling programme, and to assist in development planning
- Take responsibility for end of well reporting
- Have a BSc Degree
- Have a minimum of 15 years of operational experience working in a multi-disciplinary subsurface team, you'll have well planning, wellsite and operation geology experience in a hands-on offshore capacity.
- Have a working understanding of well engineering and the ability to facilitate efficient communication between subsurface and well/drilling engineering.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Experience in the Middle East would be an advantage
