General Manager - Technical G&G

Our client requires an experienced Geoscientist to head up their technical team for their Geoscience activities.
Responsibilities for this role will include:
- Planning, implementing, supervising, and monitoring of G&G and other technical studies related to Exploration and Field Development activities.
- Execution and evaluation of the Exploration Strategy and appraisal and development planning.
- Planning and budgeting for seismic acquisition and processing.
- Review and manage core objectives and functions on cost and time factors.
- Work with Government and regulatory bodies & JV partners for various techo-economic proposals and issues.
- Preparing and providing timely data for required compliances.
Previous experience and knowledge in the following is essential:
- Folded thrust belt basin and oil experience.
- Working experience in Kingdom Seismic interpretation Software, PETREL Geological, Geophysical and reservoir modelling suite, and landmark interpretation software with understanding of static and dynamic modelling.
- Integration of Geological, Geophysical ( 2D , 3D Seismic and VSP ), Well, Reservoir, Petrophysical and Production Data for identification of Field development and exploration potential.
- Concept of prospect generation, Reservoir characterization and preparation of pay maps by integration of subsurface geological information, well log data and various seismic attributes. Concept of sequence stratigraphy will be preferred.
Qualifications required:
- Degree or higher in a Geoscience discipline.
- 15-20 years experience work in Geoscience for operator companies.
- Previous experience working in a JV environment essential
