CBM Wellsite Geologists – Surat Basin
(Excellent day rates with 2 weeks on / off roster)
We are looking for experienced Wellsite Geologists for a major established CSG company.
The work will be based on a 2 weeks on / off roster with wells within the Surat Basin, which is 3 – 4 hours drive from Brisbane. This is a great opportunity during this recession period as the client has a well-planned and solid extensive committed drilling program.
The right candidate should have
- a minimum of 6 years experience (Coal / Oil and Gas)
- a degree in Geology
- experience in microscopic descriptions of sample cuttings
- Creating Strip logs of geology sections
- Managing and interpreting field data
- Geophysical supervision and interpretation of logs
- Worked on Drill Stem Tests
- A team player and a positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills
You will be reporting directly to the Operations Geologists in Brisbane.
