My client is an international operator with a wide portfolio covering Europe, Middle East, SE Asia and Latin America amongst others.
They are looking to secure a Senior Exploration Geologist who will predominantly be responsible for:
• Contributes to and leads delivery of geoscience projects
• Completes play analysis; evaluates structural evolution and seismo-stratigraphic development, builds Gross Depositional Environment maps, creates Petroleum Systems Models, and Play Evaluation maps
• Analyzes data for licensing rounds and for farm-in evaluations. Visits data rooms, gathers data.
• Completes analysis of 2D & 3D seismic and wells, maps and generates new leads and prospects.
• Scouts and analyzes data for regional studies to help future plans and areas of potential interest.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Masters in Geology or equivalent
• A specialisation in sedimentology or petroleum systems would be an advantage
• Geoscience proficiency
• Expert user in key geoscience softwares
• A working knowledge of other disciplines including geophysics, reservoir engineering and petro physics
• Experience of well planning and design
