Our Dallas, TX client is seeking an Operations Geologist on a Direct Hire basis.
Responsibilities:
Subsurface interpretation, generating maps and cross sections
Oil and gas property evaluation
Manage geological and geophysical projects and contractors
Manage and coordinate geosciences aspects related to drilling well operations
Requirements:
Masters Degree in Geology preferred
5+ years Petroleum Geology experience
Permian Basin experience
Experience with reservoir characterization and well operations
Experience with geosciences interpretation software, Petra preferred
Effective team player who takes an active role in team responsibilities
Strong time management skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work on multiple tasks
Ability to present work and ideas to management
