Our client, a well established join venture of two operating companies in the Middle East are looking for a Senior Operations Geologist for their office Saudi Arabia.
Responsibilities:
As an Operations Geologist you will be capable of :
- Obtain, manipulate, and interpret computer databases and mapping programs consistent with established company mapping standards.
- Obtain and interpreting well log correlation and interpretation, petrophysical analysis, interpretation of seismic data, field specific geologic interpretation of known producing traps and trap types, structure and producing intervals to define drilling, recompletion, and workover economic objectives.
- Take responsibility for the duty rota of operations and well site geology
- Manage sub-surface input to the geology and drilling programme, and to assist in development planning
- Have a BSc Degree
- Have a minimum of 13 years of operational experience working in a multi-disciplinary subsurface team, you'll have well planning, wellsite and operation geology experience in a hands-on offshore capacity.
- Have a working understanding of well engineering and the ability to facilitate efficient communication between subsurface and well/drilling engineering.
- Experience in the Middle East
